Visiting the Greenhouse

We provide the visitor with a global vision of the past and present of the Almeria fields, and with the importance of the greenhouse intensive agriculture on the economy of the province, with in-depth information on the various cultivation techniques used up to the most recent ones.

Throughout the visit, we can enjoy three different structures on the same estate, the traditional "lattice type", the most modern called "multi-tunnel o multi-capillary", which is a greenhouse structure that allows nutritional, irrigation and climate control by means of computer systems, and a smaller third one for seedbeds, where we show the process of obtaining seedlings, showing the latest techniques used, such as for example the replanting and the thinning out (morphogenesis) of the same.

The visit includes information on our own experiences and anecdotes of Almeria fields, in this way making the visit much more entertaining and enjoyable.

At the end of the visit, there is a tasting of the fruit and vegetables with extra virgin olive oil, bread and honey, providing the opportunity to taste, in situ, the flavours, colours, aroma and texture of the various varietals of produce cultivated in our province.

Our aim is that when the customer finishes the visit and its corresponding activities, with a true, objective and real vision of how we produce certain fruit or vegetables, from what we do with the seed, to how we have to handle the product after the harvest.

This is why we have adapted the visit and explanations to all types of public:
